Whispering Winds

Upon entering this beautiful old home, a friend and I were greeted by the wind sifting through the open windows and crack in doors. One of the first rooms had a small fire place with fake logs that were scattered on the floor, it made for a pretty picture - further in to the same room we were greeted by what many abandoned old homes hold inside which is some sort of instrument - in each abandoned house I've been in so far.. well almost all of them.. there has either been an organ or a piano.. this one was no different. The wind catching the curtains made for another pretty photo.. this house had no shortage of opportunities for moments captured in the beauty of neglect. One of my favorite parts of exploring homes, are the ones that are like this, while all of them have a story to tell, these ones, the old - timeless ones - they always stand out.. always setting a scene for the imagination to run wild and write a story of what could have been..
