Tracing Shadows

Tucked away on the backroads of rural South Carolina, hides this old home. Hanging by a thinning thread, half of this home was not accessible as floors had met their fate and caved in. The heaviness of old kitchen appliances on even older wood floors lost their battle against even more aged floors. The parts of the home I did have the honor of capturing, told enough of a story. Many personal items from clothes to cards to photos were abundant in this home, it felt like tracing shadows of the past - making it a true gift for a wandering soul like mine. This is one few homes I have established a slight attachment to, however long she may last - she will always have a special place in my heart.
