Decayed Dwelling

On the way home after a long day of exploring, this house was just barely visible from the road. Catching a glimpse was enough to initiate a u-turn and before I knew it, I found myself inside one of the most decayed (and messy) bandos I have been inside so far.. and that's saying something. But something about this home's energy was also a little off-putting.. I still can't seem to figure out why but in editing the photos I was profoundly surprised how much I was enjoying scrolling through the captures of this house. Sometimes the best part of capturing the abandoned is telling the story your own way of translating the feeling through editing, a full circle realization about the importance of appreciating every single step in this journey in to the forgotten and leaving with photos as a token of all of the emotions we can endure in doing so.
