Forsaken Farm

Hauntingly beautiful is the best way to describe this explore. A friend and I walked uphill toward this home realizing then that there were barns, sheds and an entire farm just waiting to be explored. Eager to get in the house, we couldn't ignore the very unfortunate smell of what I can only describe as "death" coming from inside. Meanwhile a sound that was likely a large animal or vulture also emerged from inside the house.. we decided we didn't want to go in after all.. nevertheless it was a property that nearly seemed endless.. I caught myself drifting further and further in to the woods to see if I could find something else.. a few barns and sheds later.. with only an hour until sundown and several places left to explore.. we decided to be on our way.. looking back at the photos.. in a way I'm happy I didn't get to go inside.. maybe after some time.. it will decide to invite me in..
